GAT 037 : TREE HOTEL - SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE - LAKE NAKURU & NAIVASHA 5 Days.

Day 1 Nairobi - Tree Hotel
Drive northwards through the farmlands of the Kikuyu people to reach aberdare and small town of Nyeri in time for lunch. In the early afternoon drive through the forest to your Tree Hotel where the night is spent high above the floodlit water hotel and saltlick. Frequent visitor are elephant, rhino, buffalo, and giant forest hog. Overnight at your tree hotel.

Day 2 Aberdare - Samburu
After breakfast flank Mount Kenya and descend into the dry and rugged semi-desert Samburu National Reserve is situated. Harsh but beautiful this reserve harbours many species of animal not found in the more lush parks to the south. Afternoon game drive dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp in the Reserve.

Day 3 Samburu National Reserve
The day is spent exploring this Reserve. You will almost certainly see the graceful Reticulate giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Elephant and the Oryx perhaps the legend of the unicorn. Overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 4 Samburu - Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast drive to lake Nakuru stopping enroute for a brief look at the magnificent Thompson's Falls where the waters of Ngare Naro cade in a sheer drop of 73 metres. Lunch at Nakuru before visiting the world famous bird sanctuary and National Park where sight of millions or more flamingoes has been described by Sir Peter Scott as " the world's greatest bird spectacle". There is also much game to be seen before spending the night at a lodge or camp in the Park or before driving on to spend in the night a hotel at lake Naivasha

Day 5 Lake Naivasha - Nairobi
After breakfast a relaxing look at the beautiful Lake Naivasha richly endowed with birds (there are over 460 species) before returning to Nairobi which is reached by lunchtime. Back
