GAT 038 : AMBOSELI - TSAVO - NAIVASHA - MAASAI MARA 6 Days

Day 1 Nairobi - Amboseli
Drive through Maasai land to Amboseli National Park, which nestles at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro Africa's highest mountain. Lunch in the Park followed by a game drive in this Park. Overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 2 Amboseli - Tsavo
After an early morning game drive leave Amboseli for Tsavo West National Park. The route follows the base of the chyulu Hills and crosses a great lava flow which gives evidence of Mt. Kilimanjaro's volcanic past. Lunch and an afternoon game drive in the Park. A visit is made to Mzima Spring where from an underwater observation tank is possible to see submerged hippo walking on floor of the Springs. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in or near the Park.

Day 3 Tsavo - Naivasha
After breakfast leave for Lake Naivasha taking lunch en route in Nairobi. In the afternoon reach Lake Naivasha which lies among extinct volcanoes on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. There is a birdwatcher's paradise. Dinner and overnight at a lakeside hotel

Day 4 Naivasha - Maasai Mara
Drive across the Maasai plains to reach the renowned Masai Mara in time for Lunch. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the bewildering herds and the numerous predators which have made the Reserve famous. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp in or near the reserve.

Day 5 Maasai Mara National Reserve
A full day game viewing when it should be possible to see all the Big Five as well as a variety of lesser known species. Dinner and overnight in the Reserve.

Day 6 Maasai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast depart from the Reserve and re-cross the Rift Valley to reach Nairobi by lunchtime. Back
